What we CAN do is to prepare ourselves for the emanations that are traveling "downward" to be better received. So, indeed, my correspondent is correct: "There is a "symmetry balance" which posits that we are in control of the "Matrix." The matrix reflects us and we it. What we become - it becomes."

This is the essential point of Castaneda when he wrote:

He explained that one of the greatest accomplishments of the seers of the Conquest was a construct he called the three-phase progression. By understanding the nature of man, they were able to reach the incontestable conclusion that if seers can hold their own in facing petty tyrants, they can certainly face the unknown with impunity, and then they can even stand the presence of the unknowable.

"The average man's reaction is to think that the order of that statement should be reversed," he went on. "A seer who can hold his own in the face of the unknown can certainly face petty tyrants. But that's not so. What destroyed the superb seers of ancient times was that assumption. We know better now. We know that nothing can temper the spirit of a warrior as much as the challenge of dealing with impossible people in positions of power. Only under those conditions can warriors acquire the sobriety and serenity to stand the pressure of the unknowable."

All around us we see the results of this error: the idea that we can exert our will and voice upward to change what is "above" us in order to change our reality. This idea is at the root of rites and rituals, demanding, pleading, visualizations, "workings," and so forth. When people think that "meditating on compassion," or "feeling the feelings of all beings," is going to result in the "sonic entrainment of the heart's rhythm [being] braided into more complex and coherent patterns," which will then enable the person to "create a diamond imperishable body for use as a teaching vehicle down here on earth," has missed the entire point. To compare such ideas to the true work of the Yogi is simply ignorant.

Yogis don't just sit down one day and meditate on compassion or the feeling of oneness and "boom!" experience an "implosive soul force." Before the Yogi has ever achieved the point of being able to think even momentarily about "the oneness of all beings," or the "feelings of all beings," he has spent many, many years in the struggle between "yes" and "no;" the struggle to master his emotions, his desires, his physicality. It is the work of making the physical vehicle "down here," receptive to whatever may be "up there," as opposed to trying to forcibly create something "up there," in order to have it "down here."

But not everybody can just drop out of life and become a Yogi.

And it seems that those nasty versions of ourselves in the future really wish to continue to exist, to become even more powerful, and as a consequence, they exert a great deal of energy attempting to ensure not only their continued survival, but their ultimate dominance over all Creation!

After all, it IS a time loop, and the last time it looped around, they were the outcome, the choice, the probable future that became the Now. And they want to keep it that way.

And the choice as to which reality we will cycle into for the next round, or whether or not we can step out of the loop at the nexus point, has to be made rather soon. Which is why there is so much effort to conceal, disinform, obfuscate, and disrupt the dissemination of the ideas of Free Will and true Service to Others. And these future selves of the Reptilian, Gray, and other STS varieties are using time travel to go back and repeatedly change the past, to plant "misleading clues," to get folks to make the choices that will strengthen their hold on this density, and consequently, 4^th density. The Alternate futures: us in the future as the "bad guys," or us in the future as light beings is being decided now. The battle is NOW. It is THROUGH us.

It seems that one of the chief forms of disinformation that keeps humanity locked into the STS mode of existence, and which is hoped to ensure the ultimate victory of the STS forces at higher levels, is exactly what we have described above: the reversal of the natural order of achieving self-mastery.

A very popular form of this disinformation is found in the so-called "Flower of Life" and related "Sacred Geometry" teachings that are very popular in the present time. The stated purpose of the "system" is:

Through our teachings of sacred geometry, we introduce the student to ancient esoteric teachings given around the world for thousands of years. These teachings, based on sacred geometry, illustrate for the left brain how there is truly only one consciousness, one spirit, one God, and that we are all part of that oneness. After the mind understands this concept, we then teach the student a 17-breath merkaba meditation that will allow he or she to feel and experience this unity of all life. The left and right brains suddenly awaken to this universal truth and the heart begins to put this truth into action.

Seeing and feeling this unity of life clearly within every aspect of our lives is very important. Both sides of the brain begin to move into harmony and balance, and this kind of balance aids the heart in opening. Experiencing this universal unity also integrates the heart and mind, which weaves peace and balance into all corners of our being. Harmony and balance opens windows in our mind, our heart, and our spirit. Without divine unity inside of us, these windows of inspiration are rarely available. Internal unity opens a doorway within us and allows prana or "divine balanced life force energy" to enter the innermost channels of our physical being. There are many variations on this theme, including "Projecting the Tree of Life on the Celestial Globe," or utilizing the "Meta-Programming Protocol." All of them, as the reader can easily see from the above description, constitute the idea that we can exert our will and voice upward to change what is "above" us in order to change our reality, ourselves, moving our brains into harmony, or aiding the "heart in opening," obtaining "harmony and balance" which is then going to "open windows in our mind, our heart, and our spirit," etc. It is then stated, (quite truthfully, I should add, since good disinformation is always wrapped in a warm and fuzzy truth), that, "without Divine Unity inside of us, these windows of inspiration are rarely available." What is left out is the cold, hard fact that this is entirely the bass-ackward way to go about achieving any of the above claimed benefits.

Sure, such activities will temporarily produce chemical changes that will feel VERY good, the same way a good meal satisfies hunger temporarily. It really "feels good!" But just as the steak and salad are digested and most of the matter excreted in a few hours, and another steak and salad is needed to fill the stomach again, so do such practices fail to so anything more than perpetuate the "food chain." And, staying with the analogy, very little of the "substance" of such practices actually "stays with" the individual.

A self-proclaimed "Enochian Magician of our acquaintance has described such pathways in the following terms: "The magickal training was great too. I was learning and experiencing faster than I had dreamed possible, and for a sensation junkie like me, this was heaven."

And that is the key: sensation junkies.

In 1958, Aldous Huxley wrote Brave New World in which he stated:

The older dictators fell because they never could supply their subjects with enough bread, enough circuses, enough miracles and mysteries. Nor did they possess a really effective system of mind-manipulaton.

Under a scientific dictator, education will really work - with the result that most men and women will grow up to love their servitude and will never dream of revolution. There seems to be no good reason why a thoroughly scientific dictatorship should ever be overthrown.

Aldous Huxley also made an early connection between psychedelic drugs and the experiences of Eastern Mysticism and this set the consciousness raising bomb off with a BANG! Along came Timothy Leary, Richard Alpert AKA Baba Ram Dass with their LSD and other modes, leading the parade of those who were "turned on, tuned in."
