Introduction

As noted in the introduction to the Cassiopaean Experiment, from the very earliest days of the Cassiopaean contact, Laura had been urged to "network" via the internet. Following this direction was, in fact, the means by which she and Ark were brought into contact with one another. However, networking is problematical.

The internet is a double-edged sword. Not only does it offer the possibility for contact between like-minded individuals separated by vast distances and even belonging to different cultures, it also provides the opportunities for individuals of a predatory nature to seek out prey for any number of nefarious reasons. Never before have the possibilities of networking been so enhanced, and the dangers so prevalent.

In the case of Ark and Laura, there were certain safeguards in place. Ark was a prominent physicist in the European community with a public presence that could be easily verified. As Tom French wrote in his article in the St. Petersburg Times:

Ark seemed perfect for Laura. In fact, he seemed almost too good to be true. So I checked. I did not want to see Laura crushed into oblivion. I did not want to learn, six months down the line, that this soul mate of hers was actually a 14-year-old boy in Philadelphia, doing what any 14-year-old boy would be doing on the other end of the computer line. I asked one of the Times' researchers to see if Arkadiusz Jadczyk was real. Indeed he was; in 1995, he had even won something called a Humboldt Award, which if I understood correctly, was a respectable achievement in the world of physics.

Ark had similar assurances about Laura. Not only had Mr. French spent over five years following Laura and her work, and was available for contact, Ark and Laura also had a mutual acquaintance - another physicist, Dr. R. Santilli.

It's not only 14 year old boys on computers that we have to worry about. Anybody with a computer can claim anything they want to claim, create websites to "validate" their claims, and proceed to con anybody in any manner they choose.

Internet fraud generally refers to any type of fraudulent use of a computer and the Internet, including the use of chat rooms, email, message boards, discussion groups and websites, to conduct fraudulent activities. The attributes of internet technology - low cost, ease of use, and anonymous nature, among others - make it an attractive medium for fraudulent scams, child sexual exploitation, and increasingly, a new concern known as "cyberstalking."

In spite of the dangers, of which both Ark and Laura were aware, the official Cassiopaea web site was launched in 1998, giving the experiment an expanding public presence. Many readers began to join in the research process and widespread sharing of data and experiences served only to confirm - again and again - many of the concepts and clues provided by the Cassiopaean material.

The publishing of the Cassiopaean communications and the establishing of the network of dialogues among those interested in this material was followed by numerous extremely unpleasant events for Ark and Laura. They took it in stride, considering that the sharing of the information was worth the risks even if the Cassiopaeans had once said:

Agents and agencies are omnipresent. You were moving in a direction whereby the knowledge gained would be most compromising, if shared. We have suggested before that this forum was better served as an educational realm for you, rather than one from which to launch upon an effort to educate all others.

As it happens, such "cautions" in the transcripts are about equally balanced with suggestions that "networking" is serving others. This "confusion" was only later understood, as will be described further on.

In response to the many questions and requests for more information, in the spring of 2000, Laura began to write the Wave Series. This attracted even more attention, mostly positive, though it also attracted the personal attention of some extremely dark forces.

"Maynerd Most" (a pseudonym) first wrote to Laura in the spring of 1999 introducing himself as a journalist and general all around esoteric expert. The early exchanges between Mr. Most and Laura are included as supplements to this series.

In the fall of 2000, Frank Scott - a long time member - left the group. In the same period, Maynerd Most initiated a discussion with Laura in which he now claimed to be a struggling new publisher needing good authors - with an offer to publish her work.

Laura, overwhelmed with the work of keeping up with the discussion group, answering questions, editing and ordering the transcripts, researching clues from the material, and writing articles for the site, thought that Mr. Most was a godsend! Having corresponded with him for almost two years at this point, Laura felt she could trust him, and she turned over to him unpublished material, confidential materials that he suggested he would help to edit, and believing that her life's work was in good hands, she settled down to concentrate on writing.

There were, of course, differences in opinion regarding the material and its possible interpretations between Ark and Laura and Maynerd Most, but Laura was confident that, given time, Most would prove to be amenable to a more open-minded approach. As one observer of the dynamic noted succintly: "If other people are so knowledgable about what Laura is doing so that they are qualified to pass judgment, then why aren't they conducting their own successful "experiment?" Why aren't the C's talking to them? Why haven't their lives changed dramatically - and for the better - as Laura's and Ark's have because they have actually APPLIED the things they have learned?"

Apparently, having a direct connection to yourself in the future has its advantages.

In the summer of 2001, the Cassiopaeans themselves activated a daring plan, setting up the conditions for Laura to experience a direct visual representation of Maynerd Most. What she saw stunned her. His "mask" was so effective and convincing that Laura could hardly believe that what she was seeing was true. After all, this was not just a matter of deciding you didn't like someone and didn't want to associate with them for one reason or another. The fact was, just as Laura had liked Frank Scott very much, she also liked Maynerd Most very much and where both of them were concerned, had spent many enjoyable hours in conversation with them. This was "seeing" on a whole new level and Laura had many, many doubts about what she was seeing. It was actually painful to contemplate the necessary response to the understanding. If knowledge really did protect - but only if applied - Ark and Laura had to apply what they knew.

Ark and Laura discussed the matter for weeks seeking hard data - evidence. It was not lacking, certainly, but it was always possible to "give the benefit of the doubt" and overlook the subtle clues. A hypothesis was formed, a series of tests were devised, and - once again - the Cassiopaeans were proven correct - with a twist. It seems that this experience was the opening of the door to one of the most advanced lessons of adeptship. It was also, obviously, a "test" of sorts.

On a practical level, (but only much later) Laura's doubts about the matter were put to rest when The Perseus Foundation research group undertook an investigation of Most - including a professional private investigator's report - in the fall of 2001. To Laura's chagrin, it was revealed that Most was little more than an ordinary con-artist. Not only was his entire published "resume" a complete fraud, he had a history of attaching himself to individuals - to ride on their coattails, so to say - in hopes of stealing their work, their money, or both.

Even though there was a history of fraud, Ark and Laura were reluctant to publish the report on Most. However, it became necessary to respond publicly to the many attacks Most made on them in response to their attempts to simply disassociate themselves from him. It was certainly clear that there was something very, very wrong with the interaction, and only much later was it realized that the entire dynamic was a crucial lesson.

As it turned out, learning about Maynerd Most through personal interaction, produced a "question" that needed an answer. And the seeking of the answer resulted in developing the necessary tools and insight to move the Cassiopaean work to the next phase - the Quantum Future School.

Mr. Most reacted to the data presented in the report as expected: at all costs he wanted it removed, and since he could not force us to remove it legally, (Truth is not libel or slander), he resorted to attempted blackmail and extortion to try to force us to remove this report.

In January 2002, Frank Scott joined forces with Maynerd Most to discredit the experiment, to label the members of the Cassiopaea discussion list as members of a "cult," obviously in a concerted effort to put an end to the experiment itself.

This was difficult to comprehend until Laura became aware of what is called COINTELPRO. This was a term that she had only heard in passing years ago, but now, it became all too real. For some reason, a housewife, mother of 5 children, conducting experiments in superluminal communication that actually led to significant results, was of extreme interest to agents and agencies unknown.

Even though she had kept the door open for Frank to return to the group right up to the moment of his public attacks - just as she had hoped that Maynerd Most would demonstrate that he was not as he had been revealed to be - Laura had to acknowledge the fact that two people she liked very much, whose companionship she enjoyed immensely, and who she felt could have been the most marvelous of co-experimenters had they chosen to release their egos and stop trying to manipulate and control and lie, had simply chosen the other path.

She was heartbroken. Her health deteriorated rapidly, and in January of 2002 she suffered a life-threatening illness.

After she had recovered enough to sit at her desk, Laura did the only thing she knew to do with what she had learned: she sought daily to understand the dynamic she had been shown and then, shared it with others by writing the Adventures Series, an account of the events and dynamics.

Laura was obliged, in self-defense, to investigate the dark world of Counter Intelligence Operations. What she discovered was shocking. The following is a synopsis extracted from her book "The Secret History of The World."

Something Wicked This Way Comes

Richard Dolan’s UFOs and the National Security State is the first comprehensive study of the past 50 years of the U.S. Government’s response to the intrusion of UFO phenomena in America. The compiled evidence - which includes government documents - suggests that a group of specialists working in the shadows, set up and executed the most massive cover-up in the history of government; and that the Human Potential movement and the subsequent New Age movements, were key elements of this cover-up. In other words, they not only have used the “colorful community” of alternative ideas as an unwitting tool of disinformation, it is highly probable that most of it was literally created by them as COINTELPRO. According to analysts, COINTELPRO was the FBI’s secret program to undermine the popular upsurge, which swept the country during the 1960s. Though the name stands for “Counterintelligence Program,” the targets were not enemy spies. The FBI set out to eliminate “radical” political opposition inside the US. What a lot of people do not realize is that this was a high level psychological operation specifically set up to vector “ideological” trends - beliefs, etc. To get a complete picture of the problem, Dolan writes:

The UFO problem has involved military personnel around the world for more than fifty years, and is wrapped in secrecy. […] Because this subject is so widely ridiculed, it is important to stress why it is worthy of serious attention.[…] Stories of strange objects in the sky go far back into time, but the problem received little attention until the Second World War. […] During the UFO wave of 1947, American military and intelligence organizations conducted multiple, simultaneous investigations of these sightings. […] By the end of 1947, a contingent of analysts at the Air Technical Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base believed that UFOs were extraterrestrial. By the summer of 1948, this team prepared an “Estimate of the Situation.” […] As the story goes, Air Force Commander Hoyt Vandenberg rejected [this conclusion.] […]

In the summer of 1952… UFO sightings were so frequent and often of such high quality that some in the air force actually wondered whether an invasion was under way. With some help from the secret CIA sponsored Robertson Panel of January 1953, the air force improved censorship over the problem. Still, it never quite went away. Civilian organizations began to collect and analyze interesting UFO reports. […] Then came the great UFO wave of 1965 and 1966, when the air force could no longer hide behind weather balloons and swamp gas, nor withstand public scrutiny. […]

Let us pause to assess the situation. By the mid-1940s, America’s intelligence apparatus had reason to believe that there were artifacts in the skies that did not originate from America, Russia, Germany, or any other country. These objects violated some highly sensitive military airspace, and did not appear to be natural phenomena. One may presume that the affected national security authorities made it an immediate obsession to determine the nature and purpose of these objects, and we may infer that the issue probably became a deep secret by 1946, or 1947 at the latest.[8]

It was at this precise moment in time that the Human Potential movement was “born.”

Do we think that this was a coincidence?

By the mid-50s, it was becoming obvious that things were getting out of control and in August of 1956, the FBI began its COINTELPRO operation. When traditional modes of repression (exposure, blatant harassment, and prosecution for political crimes) failed to counter the growing insurgency, and even helped to fuel it, the Bureau took the law into its own hands. Its methods ranged far beyond surveillance, and amounted to a domestic version of the covert action for which the CIA has become infamous throughout the world.

Usually, when we think of COINTELPRO, we think of the most well known and typical activities which include sending anonymous or fictitious letters designed to start rumors, among other things, publishing false defamatory or threatening information, forging signatures on fake documents, introducing disruptive and subversive members into organizations to destroy them from within, blackmailing insiders in any group to force them to spread false rumors, or to foment factionalism, and so on.

What a lot of people don’t keep in mind is the fact that COINTELPRO also concentrated on creating bogus organizations.

These bogus groups could serve many functions which might include attacking and/or disrupting bona fide groups, or even just simply creating a diversion with clever propaganda in order to attract members away so as to involve them with time-wasting activity designed to prevent them from doing anything useful. COINTELPRO was also famous for instigation of hostile actions through third parties.

According to investigators, these FBI programs were noteworthy because all documents relating to them were stamped “do not file.” This meant that they were never filed in the system, and for all intents and purposes, did not exist. This cover was blown after activists broke into an FBI office in Media, Pennsylvania in 1971. The possibility of finding evidence for any of it, after that event, is about zero. To spell it out in Dolan’s words:

Regarding matters connected with “national security,” there appears to be a wealth of information that does not exist officially. Thus, a request to find such documents through a Freedom of Information Act request would be in vain. Add to this the likelihood that perhaps the most sensitive information regarding UFOs may not even exist in document form (“the first rule in keeping secrets is nothing on paper,” Richard Helms), and one can appreciate the difficulty that an honest UFO researcher has in ferreting out the truth.[9]

Now, let us take a few logical steps. The UFO problem emerged into the national consciousness in 1947, or thereabouts. Not long afterward, a lot of people began asking a lot of questions. The government wasn’t answering, and so the people began to band together to find out the answers for themselves. They started forming groups. And this is where things get just a bit curious. The thing that was most threatened by the UFO/alien issue seems to have been the Standard Monotheistic Religions. Religion seems to be a necessary component of political control. Social control - that is the mainstay of religion -  was most definitely under threat. In fact, what seems to be true is that it is not even clear that religions - as we know them - would have survived a full disclosure. So the logical conclusion is that part of the main reason for the cover-up was to “protect the religious status quo ” - or to create a new "religion" by which masses of people could be controlled.

As things stood at the time, protecting the religious status quo - mainly the social controls that stem from religion - was iffy at best. After a century of scholarly investigation into many religious texts, and the raising of many questions about the “old time religion,” there were a lot of people in society who were most definitely turning away from religious dogma. It’s fairly simple to take the next logical step and see that a combining of the questions of those who were disenchanted with religion, with the questions of those who wanted to know just what the heck was going on in terms of possible “extraterrestrials,” was seen as a dangerous and explosive mixture.

Something had to be done.

The activities of COINTELPRO in attempting to neutralize political opposition have been pretty well exposed. But we are now considering the fact that, in addition to political activists, it seems that COINTELPRO has particularly targeted groups that are seeking the truth about the interactions between the US government and Ultra Terrestrials, or so-called “aliens.” That a long-time cover-up of these matters has been in effect is certainly evident to any careful researcher.

The COINTELPRO files show the U.S. Government targeted a very broad range of religious, labor and community groups opposed to any of its agendas, and it is only logical to assume that the same type of operation would be created to cover up the “alien agenda.” Such a theoretical COINTELPRO operation also goes far in explaining why, when the sincere researcher of UFO phenomena enters this field, he or she discovers only lies, lies, and more lies; confusion and disinformation. That is most definitely the signature of COINTELPRO.

Considering all of this, would anybody care to suggest that it did not also occur to the Powers that Be that the chief means of diverting attention and covering up the truth would be to literally fund and create the “New Age” and “Human Potential movement" so that it would follow their agenda of keeping secrets? So that it would create a New Religion of Aliens that THEY controlled?

In other words, it is extremely likely that the most successful and popular of Metaphysical Mavens and New Age Impresarios are COINTELPRO agents - either conscious or dupes of those who are. The objective seems to be to attack and “neutralize” those who are seeking the answers. Those who are sincere, who do bona fide research and seek to explicate the truth, are infiltrated, attacked, and marginalized according to standard COINTELPRO procedures.

What all of this seems to suggest is that the Powers That Be (PTB) have developed COINTELPRO to an all new level of Social Shaping, Cultural Brainwashing, and the main targets of this activity would include virtually anyone who is seeking the truth about the shifting realities of our world. The cases of COINTELPRO activities against political groups must be no more than the tip of the iceberg, given that the great bulk of COINTELPRO-type operations remain secret until long after their damage has been done. By all indications, domestic covert operations have become a permanent feature of U.S. politics and Social Programming, and it is hardly likely, considering the evidence, that the New Age and Human Potential fields are exempt.

The implications of this are truly alarming. Those who manage to get close to the truth of these matters, despite the many obstacles in their path, face National covert campaigns to discredit and disrupt their research and reputations. Clearly, COINTELPRO and similar operations under other names also work to distort academic and popular perceptions of the problems facing our world. They have done enormous damage to the search for the Truth.

As time passed, as the dedication of Maynerd Most to destroying the work of Cassiopaea became more and more evident, the likelihood that he was, in fact, and agent of COINTELPRO became stronger and stronger. It was only after the publication of the Adventure Series that Ark and Laura began to receive emails from other victims of Maynerd Most and the likelihood became an almost certainty.

Day after day she struggled to make sense of what was happening in her life. As it turned out, Laura's act of converting her suffering to sharing led to some of the most profound revelations brought forth in modern times regarding the nature of our reality. Seeking to understand the inexplicable perceptions and capacity for deception of Maynerd Most, Frank Scott, and others involved in the attacks, Laura searched and probed and "tested" on the daily public stage of the internet. The search for answers led to revelations about psychopaths, which opened the door to our understanding of Organic Portals. Without this understanding, it would be almost impossible to comprehend the events on the World Stage, including the behavior of George Bush and his gang.

The members of the Quantum Future School are fully aware of the great gift this dynamic gave to all of us.

Because Ark and Laura chose the high ground of doing what was right simply because it was the right thing to do, and because they were willing to take the heat of their decisions - difficult as they were - because they were willing to share every detail, to be completely open and transparent, they managed to include an entire group of people in their own initiatory experience which gave us an enormous gift:

Q: (A) We communicate with many other people via the internet and the question is: where are the STO people who know more than we know? We look for somebody who can teach us something and we never seem to be able to do it. What are we doing wrong?
A: Maybe you should more the teacher than the student be.
Q: (A) We know that there are good guys somewhere...
A: They shall appear, as needed.
Q: (L) Well, we feel pretty alone with all the lunatics and attack we have been subjected to. It is a rather lonely existence.
A: Not for long.
Q: (A) Not for long? A related question concerning our internet activities which have been going on for some time, and we do it because we feel that it is necessary, but we don't really know or understand what is the real purpose of what we are doing. Some people are reading our pages and writing letters, and then they disappear or they are discouraged, or they do nothing on their own. We are expending a lot of time on this publishing of information, but without clear understanding of what we are supposed to accomplish by this. (L) At this point, it is not accomplishing a whole lot except drawing down fire on our heads! (A) Right!
A: You should rejoice! From the fire comes light. Patience pays. You are on the right track.

The Adventures opens on the day Laura discovered that "Frank" had made his alliance with Most.
